Method of cultivation Irrigated and Rainfed In irrigated it is grown as 1. Transplanted . 2. Direct sown In Transplanted Nursery area is 7.5cents- apply 750kg of FYM- form beds of 3 m x 1.5 m Sow 3.75 kg of seeds in 7.5 cents by forming shallow rills with fingers 5 irrigations for every 5 days- after 18 days pull out the seedlings and transplant in main field Irrigated- Rainfed- Transplanted- Direct sown- Nursery- Herbicide- Pesticide-
Main Field preparation Plough with an iron plough twice and with country plough twice. Bring the soil into fine tilth. summer ploughing, deep tillage once in three years Fine and smooth seed bed free from clods Free of weeds, Termites & ants field is ready for sowing
