A library consortium is a group of libraries that coordinates activities to achieve greater gains collectively than each individual library could achieve alone. A library consortium might be: A library consortium could consist of: A single type of library or organization Multiple types of libraries or organizations Regional National Multiple activities on behalf of membership A single purpose International And may pursue: International Coalition of Library Consortia, 2022
