  1. SWOT ANALYSIS Obsessed & Vulture http://vult.re/1jozdpL http://glmr.me/1eNqIS3

  2. STRENGTHS VULTURE Organization Feed of all news can be filtered by section TV Recaps and Move reviews are readily accessible on the main page The Star Market allows for visitors to easily select their favorite star for their latest updates

  3. STRENGTHS OBSESSED Traffic flow from Glamour.com which is where the blog branches off of Individual bio s for each writer/blog post Floating button on main blog roll to automatically go to the top Simple navigation between stories on the main feed

  4. WEAKNESSES VULTURE Though full of helpful links, the top 1/3 is almost overwhelming with things to click/absorb The video section handpicks the top viral videos and puts them in one location. Great feature, but seems located too far down the page.

  5. WEAKNESSES OBSESSED Advertisements in between each story on the feed, distracting. Navigation for Glamour.com but not specifically for Obsessed blog Upon getting to the page, there is a pop up ad that froze multiple times and delayed entrance to the actual blog

  6. OPPORTUNITIES VULTURE LOTS of good content. Better organization with a less overwhelming layout will make this pop culture site easier for a casual user VULTURE has a good selection of partners incorporating them into their content even more would be a one of a kind matchup The Feed should be expanded. It s the top stories and more readers will click if it s a more prominent feature

  7. OPPORTUNITIES OBSESSED Aesthetically, OBSESSED is very pleasing to the eye and the ads ARE small enough to where they are not overly distracting All of the stories are features and there is a comedic/casual manner that targets the correct audience and will keep them coming back but may alienate an older audience OBSESSED is the off-spring of a prominent woman s magazine. Owning that partnership and using it more will drive even more of an audience

  8. THREATS VULTURE VS. OBSESSED VULTURE has an overwhelming layout and the XL banner ad with large side bar ad may send readers to a different site OBSESSED is based off a magazine so the writing is delayed. More features than news whereas VULTURE is more of a mix OBSESSED content is limited to one blog roll. Though there is a variety of content, there isn t a method to look at JUST television JUST music, etc. VULTURE is able to use tags and menus for navigation VULTURE is more established than OBSESSED while OBSESSED uses a feature spin that readers may be more interested in
