Position, Movement, and Activity Monitoring with CIAD
A project proposal for developing a wearable hardware/software solution to monitor the movements of individuals in various settings using computational intelligence for anomaly detection. The project aims to create a device that can be used for monitoring elderly, mentally handicapped, patients, staff, or children indoors or outdoors. The data collected will be analyzed using computational intelligence techniques to detect anomalies, providing opportunities for device, system, and algorithm development. Partners sought include hospitals for specifications, integration, and prototyping; companies for mobile app development and event detection algorithms; and municipalities for iBeacon placements. For more information or to participate, contact Selcuk Ogrenci at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Turkey.
