Why Do We Need a Webmaster? Ca ada is preparing to launch a new mobile- friendly website! The launch of new website will require pro- active daily maintenance. We need a full-time permanent employee dedicated to building, maintaining and growing the presence of its website. Draft subject to change. Final website will be different.
How the Position Supports Our Goals & Mission Works with faculty, staff and students to develop, implement and grow impactful, cost-effective web and digital communication strategies and campaigns to enhance public awareness of the educational and enrichment opportunities at the College. This is accomplished through: Creative use of web, social media, internal and external college communications through engaging web design and effective content. Ensuring user accessibility and 508 compliance among all mobile, handheld, and desktop devices. Having a current, user-friendly website is critical for our students to find classes, services and events on campus.
Scope of Work for Web Programmer Analyst Web Design & Content Codes in HTML Content Development Consults & Research Implements plans, designs and new software Campus Committees Prepares documentation of web systems and applications Hands-On Training & Assistance Web Data Analysis
What Will Be Accomplished Collaborate with District ITS to ensure the College website maintains uniform guidelines and updates. Work with students, faculty and staff to create new content for outdated pages. One-on-one web tutorials with College students, faculty and staff. Work to build a mobile version of the College Catalog. Increase the College s SEO (search engine optimization) on the web to avoid being mistaken for a college in Canada. Monitor and updateof College s academic and special event calendars, plus sports schedule. Organize and build the 800+ pages on the existing College website. Monitor and update College s digital screens.
