  2. Guidelines in course selection General or specific Requirement reflects course content Choose a course at an appropriate level Level 6 Higher Cert (2 yrs) Level 7 Ordinary Degree (3 yrs) Level 8 Honours Degree (4 yrs)

  3. Application www.cao.ie 30 fee up until Jan 20th Course choices level 8, Level 6/7 ( check minimum entry requirements of each course) www.careersportal.ie Change of mind - will open again in early May until 5.15 pm July 1st. Restricted courses - cannot be applied for after Feb 1st. Show example on board- highlighting the importance of order of preference

  5. Correspondence Statement of Application - May- NB pg 20/21 Exemption form with NUI , UL and Trinity

  6. Offers CAO make the offers- mid August( approx 4 days after leaving cert results) Accept or do nothing will result in a decline Defer
