About PRASHAST Application PRASHAST is a Pre-Assessment Holistic Screening Tool designed to facilitate the preliminary screening of students for disabilities in schools, aligned with the RPwD Act, 2016. PRASHAST App launched on September 6, 2022. Facilitates disability certification via assessment camps Enables screening for 21 disabilities under the RPwD Act, 2016 Facilitates school level screening The e-book and screening booklet is available in Hindi and English Promotes active Participation of special educators and regular teachers Screening is conducted in two parts: Part 1 - Regular teachers Part 2 - Special educators Ensures accurate, evidence based diagnosis Available on google play store for Android application Ensures accurate, evidence based diagnosis
Why this Screening tool ? We need a tool which can help in early screening of all 21 disabilities listed in RPwD Act 2016. A tool which can be used by regular teacher without any training.
FLOWCHART SHOWING ROLES OF SCHOOL Principal Register with UDISE linked email ID Verify the teachers and Special Educator Accounts Assign class to teacher Download School wise and Class-wise data reports for further sharing. Teachers Register and get it verified by the Principal Add student in assigned class Fill Part-1 of the survey. Save and submit the form which will automatically reach the Special Educator for further screening Special Educator Register and gets it verified by the Principal Fill Part-2 of the survey

ROLE OF PRINCIPAL Registration at PRASHAST with UDISE linked email id Self Verification of Account Verify the accounts of Teacher and Special Educator Assign class to the Teachers After PART-1 and PART-2 screening of all studends Download screening data and Share with Samagra Shiksha Officials

TEACHER VERIFICATION by Principal A List of registred teachers in school open up Delete a Profile
TEACHER VERIFICATION by Principal continue.... Account is VERIFIED
SPECIAL EDUCATOR Verification by Principal A List of registred special educator in school open up
SPECIAL EDUCATOR Verification by Principal Continue..... Account is VERIFIED
ASSIGN class by PRINCIPAL Continue..... A list of class Nursery to class 12 will show in pop up. Then once again Click on ASSIGN CLASS.

Add Students in class Fill the details of student then Click to Add student in desired Class Click here to add student on start new survey
Start screening PART - 1 Items of PART-1 survey form open
Submit PART 1 Screening After Saving Part-1 survey click on submit button Click on SUBMIT for final submission
