Ephesians 1:15-19 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the holy ones, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
Ephesians 1:20-23 That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Ekklesia Greek translation of synagogue Assembly or gathering (Acts 19:32,39, 40 secular) Church: Worldwide people of God Called Out ones Hos. 11:1
Calling Ro 9:24 26 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles? 25 As he says in Hosea: I will call them my people who are not my people; and I will call her my loved one who is not my loved one, i 26 and, In the very place where it was said to them, You are not my people, there they will be called children of the living God. 1 Co 1:9 - God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. NIV 1 Th 2:12 live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory. NIV
Calling Eph 2:15 22 - His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 Consequently, you are fellow citizens with God s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. NIV
Our Calling God has called us to be reconciled to Himself through the Lord Jesus Christ and to have direct access to Him as our father. God has called us to belong to and be reconciled to His worldwide family, which is made up of people from all cultures, ages and biological genders. We are called to be connected to Jesus, and together with Him to be the temple of the Holy Spirit and the dwelling place of God here on earth in the present age. As the people of God, we are called to reveal to Him to the world (and even the unseen world) around us. This was always God s plan A , it was His hidden purpose from the beginning of time.
Hope Ps. 130:5-6 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord, more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Hope Jesus is coming back Titus 2:14 _ while we wait for the blessed hope the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, Resurrection from the dead Acts 23:6, And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors that I am on trial today It is because of this hope that these Jews are accusing me. 8 Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead? Transformation into His likeness - 1 Jn. 3:2-3 - But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves Eternal Life Titus 3:7 - so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life
Hope All of creation will be redeemed and restored - Rom. 8:23-25 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Hope of Your Calling The Hope contained in our calling is this: We are Called to belong to the one people of God (who are also His family) who are reconciled to the Father, joined to Jesus, filled with His Spirit, growing together and revealing God to the world we have the absolutely certain Hope that we will rise from the dead, receive transformed and immortal bodies, live together with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the redeemed and renewed creation (new heavens and earth) and inherit everything God has promised. And this will come about at the sure and certain return of Christ!
Conclusion Eternal Hope is the basis for temporal Hope Eternal Hope motivates us to serve - 1 Cor. 15:56-58 Eternal Hope is the anchor for persevering Faith and sacrificial Love Col. 1:3-6
