Prayer Request for Communities in Ecuador
Join us in prayer for the communities in Ecuador, particularly in the Southern cantons of Loja Province where Christ is least known. Pray for the small churches, college students, and youth as they seek to make disciples in the region. Support their efforts for evangelism, discipleship, and ministry establishment. Let's pray for the believers in rural and urban areas, as well as for wisdom in expanding outreach to least reached areas of Ecuador.

WHY DOES THE CHURCH STRUGGLE WITH CORPORATE PRAYERLESSNESS?
TOO BUSY! 40 40But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, Lord, don t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me! 41 worried and upset about many things,42 needed or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her. 41 Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, you are 42but few things are (Luke 10:40-42)
TOO BEAT! (TIRED) 28 28Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 29He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 30Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 31but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
TOO COMFORTABLE! (BLESSED) 17 not need a thing. But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.18 you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:17-18) 17You say, I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do 18I counsel
TOO GUILTY! (BURDENED) 14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are yet he did not sin.16Let us then approach God s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)
TOO BOTHERED! (ANXIOUS) 6 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6-7) 31 31So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? 32 things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.33 seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matt. 6:31-33) 32For the pagans run after all these 33But
TOO BIG! (SELF-CONFIDENT) 3 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.4 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Phil. 2:3-4) 5 5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.6 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.7 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.8 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.(Matt. 6:5-8)
TOO BORED! 6 6In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. 11 11We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.12 command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. 12Such people we (2 Thess. 3:6, 11-12)
TOO LAZY! 6 6Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! 7 7It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, 8 8yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. 9 9How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? 10 a little folding of the hands to rest 11 you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man. (Prov. 6:6-11) 10A little sleep, a little slumber, 11and poverty will come on If a man is lazy, the rafters sag; if his hands are idle, the house leaks. (Eccl. 10:18)

JESUS SET HIS PRIORITIES! Healing Ministry Driving Out Demons Miracles Teaching / Preaching Small Group (w/ the twelve)
JESUS KNEW THE IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING SOLITUDE! Jesus like the outdoors / getting away to remote locations: The Lake (by boat) : Matt. 14:13, Mark 6:30-32, Mark 3:7 The Mountain: Luke 22:39-41, John 6:15 The Desert: John 11:54 15 15Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.16 16But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:15-16)
JESUS KNEW IT WAS O.K. TO SAY NO SOMETIMES! Jesus had to withdraw from the crowds in order to: Spend time with the Father in prayer. Regroup for his preaching ministry across the towns & synagogues. Teach and mentor his disciples.
