Prayer Walk Introduction What is prayer walk? Prayer is front-line warfare (Ephesians 6:10) Taking our prayer on-site with God s sight Using our senses such as sights, sounds, smell etc to engage ourselves in ministry of prayer Thanksgiving Praise and Worship Repentance
Bible example Numbers 14 Joshua and Caleb walked throughout the Promised Land with a desire to see it as God saw it (in godly vision) What did Joshua and Caleb compare with the other spies? To identify enemy s power in godly vision (seeing things as they really are not as they appear to be)
Purposes of Prayer Walk? A process of exalting Jesus, magnifying God from the places where we Work, Play and Rest All people belong to the kingdom of Satan until God sets them free, we admit that people has been blinded by the enemy and unable to see the light of gospel Prayer walk amidst the evil powers with prayers of warfare Prayer walk throughout the community of people with prayers of blessing
Expectation of Prayer Walk What are we expecting through Prayer Walk? We can get insights for prayer-walking through our natural senses We can receive further insights such as organizing other prayer-walking/ gospel sharing/ community needs/ advocacy for disadvantages etc., through investigation and further research
Prepare for Prayer Walk 1. Determine the size of group? Split your group in smaller teams (3-4 people per team) 2. Where to go? Pick the area of Work/College/Civic offices/Hospitals Pick the area of Play/Entertainment/Dinning/Shopping Pick the area of Rest/Playground/Residential/Churches Using the pre-arranged areas in City of Boroondara 3. Send your choice/names of group to your congregation pastor via sms 4. How long would it take? 1pm start from church in prayer together 3pm back to church for debriefing 5. Watch out for each other especially for the young ones and seniors

What DOs/DONTs in prayer walk Use scriptures while praying Proverbs 11; James 5:13-16; John 15:12-19; Jeremiah 29:7-13; 1Timothy 2:1-6; Ephesians 6:10-20; Talk and pray for people when they welcome a brief conversation Pray in quiet observance and avoid talking too much with your group members To write down notes while praying Return to church on time for sharing together

Did you observe any spiritual needs in the places you pray for? What encourage you to pray for community places again in the future?
