Introduction The QuitReady Stop Smoking Service, Part of Leicestershire County Council, Public Health team would like to introduce to you the new Pregnancy Stop Smoking Specialist: Barbora Boyer - Presently covering East & West Leicestershire (with a focus on Coalville and Loughborough as priority areas) - Tel No: 0116 305 1325 - Email: barbora.boyer@leics.gov.uk. There will be 2x of these pregnancy specialist roles (covering East & West). They will promote smoking cessation among UHL partners and maternity and neonatal services in Leicestershire. These new roles are part of the Governments Smoke Free Generation Programme, and the aim is to reduce smoking prevalence in Leicestershire by 2030 by <5%.

  4. Our service offerings: Support throughout pregnancy Free NRT FREE Service Regular Appts/ Home Visit/ Telephone Dedicated Advisor Financial Incentive Scheme

  5. Very Brief Advice Model (30 seconds intervention) ASK ADVISE ACT ADVISE on the best way of quitting is a combination of medication NRT and behavioural support ACT on the patient s response build confidence, give information and REFER! ASK if patient is smokers or recently quit smoking Patients are 3 x times more likely to stop smoking successfully with NRT and Professional Support
