Overview Convert mechanical energy to electrical energy while maintaining high efficiency Maintain control to obtain maximum power output o Maintain a constant 5 V supply Durability o Avoid components maximum ratings Upon completion of assembled project, data can be gathered to produce the power curve performance graph
Technical Specifications Type Function Generator Minimum output=0.91 Vpk-pk, Max output=17.7 Vpk-pk RPM Sensor Infrared LED Directed at shaft flange Transformer Step up to increase the output voltage of generator Bridge Rectifier Handling up to 20 Amps of current Voltage Regulator IC LM723 voltage regulation before output Brake Microcontroller to control slow down of shaft & blades Dump Load Absorbing energy from Generator or output Microcontroller Arduino Uno Switches IGBT with current ratings of 20 Amps Batteries 5 Volt energy supply to maintain a 5 Volt load at output
