  1. PREPAREDNESS ASSESSMENT VERIFICATION (PAV) After Action Report National Strike Force Coordination Center (NSFCC) 2009 Assessment

  2. PAV Overview Conducted for each COTP zone every 3 yrs and/or before scheduled PREP exercise. Last assessment conducted 06-10 Dec 2009. Evaluates all emergency response resources available in COTP zone. Focus on classified Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) abilities. Results used to update OPA-90 mandated Response Resource Inventory (RRI) Database.

  3. OSROs Assessed Clean Harbors National Response Corporation (NRC) Moran Environmental Recovery (MORAN) Marine Spill Response Corporation (MSRC)

  4. Assessment Criteria Primary/Ancillary response equipment Operational tests Equipment maintenance records Employee training records (OSHA)

  5. PAV Results- Clean Harbors Kingston, MA No discrepancies noted during visit. All equipment well-maintained/good condition. All maintenance/employee records in compliance. Operational test on 20-ft response vessel. Noted equipment per RRI database: 27-ft JBF skimmer/2000 gallon capacity, incident command trailer.

  6. PAV Results- NRC East Providence, RI No discrepancies noted. All equipment well-maintained/good condition. All maintenance/employee records in compliance. Operational test: 3,300 gallon vacuum truck.

  7. PAV Results- MORAN East Providence, RI No discrepancies noted. All equipment well-maintained/good condition. All records in order. Items noted: 1,000 ft river boom Decon trailer 4 SCBA sets 10 air monitors Hot water pressure washer

  8. PAV Results- MSRC Providence, RI No discrepancies noted. All equipment well-maintained/good condition. All records in order. Items noted: 7,560 ft of curtain boom 25 ft work boat GT 185 Weir skimmer/200 GPM capacity
