Primary 4 Active Literacy Children are working on individual common/ tricky words. These can be found in their homework jotters. Numeracy This week we will be focussing on Information Handling, including: o Sorting & displaying information o Carroll diagrams o Understanding bar graphs o Finding similarities/differences
Homework Active Literacy Spelling Choose a spelling activity card to practise your phoneme and/or tricky words. Choose 2-3 of these phoneme words and find out their meanings. *coax *overboard *bungalow *groan *disposal *coast Now create a sentence for each of your chosen words. Reading Aim to read your library book for 10 minutes each night. Remember to quiz yourself on any book(s) you read! Or if you prefer, choose a story on MyON. You can read the story yourself or have it read to you. Numeracy Click on the link for Sumdog. Complete the task titled Information Handling . Clean Green As part of the Clean Green Award we are participating in the Shoot to Saturn travel initiative. The JRSO s are running a competition to design a rocket for the school s display board.
