Welcome to Primary 5/4 Meet the Teacher Afternoon: Mrs Nicola McNeil 30th August 2024
Our Shared Vision: We hope that this year we will all work together to ensure that we meet our school vision. In learning, we are all growing and succeeding together.

Daily Routine for Primary 5/4 Line up in the playground Prayer's/register/ lunch choices and check-in. Learning activities will include a mixture of direct teaching, individual activities, group activities, active learning and structured play. The children are being encouraged to give it a go and increase their independence in the classroom. To support this I have a range of activities they can access which will extend their learning.
Important Information for Primary 5/4 PE days with Mr. Wilkinson Tuesday pm and Wednesday am. ICT Wednesday pm - used for research to support learning. ICT Thursday am used to increase awareness and skills in digital technologies.
Primary 5/4 Homework in partnership with parents A description of the weekly homework will be added to the See Saw each Monday. The related resources will be attached to this document. The homework will be to reinforce your child s learning in class and therefore spelling and math's will be specific to your child. Reading books will be kept in school and instead reading at home will either be personal reading or Reading Eggs. Homework can be submitted online at any time throughout the week. Once I figure out how to work See Saw competently, I will reply to the homework.
Primary 5/4 Flexible Learning Plan TERM 1 IDL Japan. Numeracy and Maths- Rounding and Estimation Place Value Time Number Talks strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Primary 5/4 Flexible Learning Plan Literacy- Spelling Reading big cat reading. Talk for Writing Instructional writing and Action/Suspense writing. P.E. Gymnastics Curricular areas to be taught discretely Literacy, Numeracy & Maths, R.E., Science, Technologies, P.E and Spanish.
