Course Outline Let s start with the first set of slides 1 Module Name: RADIO PRODUCTION
Upon the successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 3. develop an understanding of professional radio procedures and practices. 6. will be exposed to professionals from the real world through mentioning, field study and/or in class 1. acquire a basic functional knowledge of professional audio equipment and software. 4. will learn how to use various pieces of audio equipment. workshops and demonstrations. 7. acquire a firm foundation for further coursework in media production 2. learn professional audio production values and techniques and distinguish between good and bad production 5. identify and develop their individual talent/skills while recognizing the importance of working together as a techniques. team. 2
Radio Production is designed to provide each student with instruction and training to prepare them for a career in communications and specifically radio broadcasting. They will be taught a basic knowledge of an audio editing software and along the way develop their communication and time management skills that will be vital in the professional world. . 3

CONTINOUSLY ASSESSMENT All assignments will carry 60% as continously Assessment. Here students must get ahalf of 60% marks inorder for them to sit for the final examination. END EXAMS MARKS Final Examination will carry 40% . Students should get ahalf of it. 6
