Background Carried out research gap analysis overseen by Academic Sub Group Using a Delphi methodology to reach consensus on research gaps and opportunities for healthy ageing, balancing views across different interests and perspectives Engagement with stakeholders to March 2020 Findings collated and aligned with programme priority themes: Healthy Behaviours Financial Security Independence and Place Meaning and Purpose 3

Aims The aims of this work are to: Produce a list of specific research questions linked to identified gaps in research, to inform future research proposals developed by academics in the field of healthy ageing and dementia Inform the Agree broad gaps in research on healthy ageing to inform the priorities of research funders development of PHE s Productive Healthy Ageing programme and linked analysis or outputs 4
