KyCPA Student Membership Your role as a Student Ambassador
A few key things to know Student membership is free Student membership is available those attending college or university Students can register easily on our website Kycpa.org/futurecpas/collegestudentresources
As a student ambassador you will Encourage students to take advantage of membership benefits & attend KyCPA programs Act as a source of information about membership and the path to become a CPA Represent KyCPA on campus

Responsibilities Dedicate approx. 15 hours per month fulfilling Ambassador responsibilities consisting of: Set semester goals How many activities do you plan to complete for the entire semester? How many new members do you plan to recruit? Set a personal goal to obtain from your mentor. Classroom presentations Meet with mentor monthly Participate in monthly Ambassador check-ins with KyCPA and mentors Assist KyCPA staff with planning virtual campus events Respond to KyCPA staff and mentor within a timely manner Provide support to accounting clubs on campus Recruit successor
Responsibilities Continued Complete monthly activity reports Monthly Activity Planner What do you plan to do this coming month to promote membership and events? Monthly Activity Report What did you actually accomplish this month? Organize and plan a recruiting event Submit planned event request a minimum of 2 weeks before event date Must be detailed; breakdown of expenses, catering order, venue, speakers needed, etc. Submit follow-up event report within 1 week of completion Budget of $250 (in two installments)
Ambassador Benefits Mentor Opportunity Letter of recommendation Credit for community service hours Invitation to KyCPA Spring Awards Banquet and recognition from the podium Eligibility to join KyCPA Accounting Career Opportunities Committee; this includes an invitation to KyCPA s annual Leadership Luncheon Access to faculty representative on campus Enhanced points toward your KyCPA scholarship application $250 bonus if all duties are fulfilled

Key Dates February 3rd: Signed ambassador agreement and semester goals due. Send Zoe your address to receive your first $125 Visa gift card March 3rd: March monthly goals due March 31st: April monthly goals due April 21st: End of semester report due, including expenses recap.
