Malachi 4:1-6 (ESV) For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts. Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.
And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.
Lukas 1:13-17 (ESV) And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God,
and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.

Statistieke: 63% of suicides come from fatherless homes, 70% of juveniles in state-operated institutions come from fatherless homes, 80% of rapists motivated by displaced anger come from fatherless homes, 40% of all children do not live with their biological fathers, 85% of children with behavioural problems come from fatherless homes, 90% of homeless children come from fatherless homes, 71% of children who do not finish school come from fatherless homes 93% of all people incarcerated are and 85% of them have no father figure (Carsten 2014; Fathers for life 2013; Statistics South Africa 2011; Goodsell & Meldrum 2010)

Children are more likely to experience behavioral issues if parents divorce when the child is between the ages of seven and 14. 6. Children with divorced parents are twice as likely to attempt suicide. 7. Children with divorced parents are four times as likely to have trouble fitting in. 8. Teenagers whose parents divorce are more likely to experience mental health issues.
When a mother comes to Christ, her family will join her at church only 17% of the time; but when a father comes to Christ, his family joins him 93% of the time 95% of men say they don t have male friends; less than 1/3 of men in church say they have a friend
For every ten men in the church 9 will have kids who leave the church 8 will not find their jobs satisfying 6 will pay the monthly minimum on their credit cards 5 will have a major problem with pornography 4 will get divorced affecting 1,000,000 per year
