Citizens living in Ireland are protected by: Domestic Irish law (under the Constitution), HUMAN RIGHTS FRAMEWORK IN IRELAND EU law (under various treaties), and other international laws and treaties (such as ECHR, UN) Of these, EU law has probably had the greatest impact on the lives, and rights, of LGBTQI+ people
