PRT Grant Phase III Webinar Targeted Improvement Planning
3 Grant Priorities PRT s will address 3 keys areas in this year s grant Data Analysis PRT Infrastructure Analysis Implementation and Evaluation
TIP Evaluation 2017-2019 The PRT will annually review and revise (if necessary) its TIP Full progress report on implementation progress Description of tracking and ensuring fidelity Description of evaluation measures and data collection to determine progress toward improved outcomes. Timelines on continued evaluation and implementation
Allocations Allocations have been revised for the 18-19 PRT Grant $5000 base grant for each PRT Oct. 1 2017 child count Services Coordination Support (Oct 1 2017) RDA Implementation
PRT Public Reporting The Nebraska Part C Annual Performance Report is publicly reported, by Planning Region Teams, on the Early Development Network website, http://edn.ne.gov/spp/index.html In order to ensure complete and accurate data, all PRTs are given the opportunity to review their own PRT-level Performance data prior to the release of the PRT Performance Report to the public.
PRT Determinations The Part C Performance Report is also used to complete the annual PRT Determinations. Utilize the Indicators on the Performance Report to complete the determinations. Timely data submission is also considered. Determinations distributed to each PRT each year on ILCD 3.0. (April 2018)
PRT Determinations The levels of Determination include: Meets Requirements (100% to 80%) Needs Assistance Needs Intervention (59% to 40%) Needs Substantial Intervention (39% & below) (79% to 60%) http://edn.ne.gov/cms/products/public-reporting
Finance Notes Allowable costs and funding suggestions: TIP Implementation RBI trainings, boot camps, RBI refreshers, internal coaching supports Quality IFSP outcomes training Getting Ready home visitation training, coaching Parent Involvement Activities Child care reimbursement for PRT meetings Child Find materials/activities
Finance Notes Professional development activities in- state/out-of-state All out of State travel must be pre-approved. PRT services coordination support is detailed within the allocation. Working meals: A grantee hosting a meeting or conference may not use grant funds to pay for food for conference attendees unless doing so is necessary to accomplish legitimate meeting or conference business. A working lunch is an example of a cost for food that might be allowable under a Federal grant if attendance at the lunch is needed to ensure the full participation by conference attendees in essential discussions and speeches concerning the purpose of the conference and to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.
