  2. The water system consists of a gutter that will collect the rain water. The water then flows through a vertical pipe that stores the water in an intermediate storage vessel like a cistern The water is then fed to the nearby water treatment plant where it is processed and inserted into the water grid This system can be used in buildings where processing is impractical by using it to flush toilets and for irrigation

  3. NUMBERS The tribe buys water at a rate of $1.15 per thousand gallons The tribe also sells the water for around $3.20 This program will save the tribe $400-900 a month. Consultation with an engineer has been estimated to be around $10,000
