Templates Secretariat ERT and LRs Drafting the ARR template efficiently (19) o Ensuring identical information is only reviewed once o Using the same language in multiple reports Finalizing a zero order draft by the end of the review week (21) LRs make use of wrap up meetings to assess the status and any obstacles to conclusion of the ZOD o Modifications may be needed to reflect the combined 2015/2016 review cycles (20) LRs to provide additional guidance during the wrap up meeting to the ERT (for completion of the ZOD) (22)
Templates Secretariat ERT and LRs Finalize templates ARR and IRR) and delivery to the ERT (23 and 24) LRs familiarize themselves with the updated templates prior the review cycle (24) at least one month to the start of the 2016 review cycle o Taking in consideration any comments received from LRs by 1 April o Provide comments after 2015/2016 review cycle o
Other review material Secretariat Review handbook: make the document as concise as possible (25) ERT and LRs LRs encouraged to provide feedback to the secretariat on the structure and content of the compilation of the Consolidated Decisions from CP2 (26) Consolidated Decisions from CP2: include a summary (26) KP manual: finalize in a user- friendly way (27) Provide comments on the KP Manual (27) Finalize all documents (above) and include in the materials delivered to ERTs at least one month prior the start of the review week (25, 26: Yes 27: No) ERT encouraged to use these materials (28) Make these documents also available to Parties (28)
Improvement to the quality, efficiency and consistency ERT and LRs The list of PMF should focus on issues and recommendations including the assessment by the ERT of the progress in addressing previous ARR s recommendations (32) Interacting with Parties is fundamental in assessing progress for the purpose of including the issue in a prominent paragraph (32) Some level of judgement More experience needs to be gained with desk reviews before making any specific recommendations (33)
