  1. Reflection on Learning DL 10

  2. Project 1. Industrial Revolution Presentation: SS IndustrIal Revolution Final Project.pptx This project falls under the Creativity and Innovation category of digital learning. While this project was mainly about finding information, this is one of my only presentations about creating transitions, and making the presentation look pleasing to watch. This digital competency is described as developing innovative products and processes . Well, I believe that this presentation checks off these boxes, through my innovative use of PowerPoints' morph transitions to create a smooth and clean experience for the user. As such, my project is relevant to the competency. [Add a graphic that provides evidence of what you learned] This project is definitely able to be improved on. There are a massive number of transitions possible in PowerPoint, and even though mine are impressive enough, there are still so many things I could ve done instead. If I had put some more time or effort into this assignment, I could easily exceed myself.

  3. Project 2. Excel Spreadsheet: IT

  4. Purpose Competency Justification This assignment was created to test knowledge of excel, a piece of software that requires technological skill to be able to use. To fully master excel, one must fully master its complicated systems, such as its formula system. This project could be further improved using this field; however, there is not much room for improvement, as this was a very limited and inflexible assignment This assignment demonstrates the competency Technology operations and Concepts. The original purpose of this excel spreadsheet was to demonstrate my proficiency with excel formulas, and create a financial plan for saving money, factoring interest rate and recurring deposits

  5. Project 3. Original Composition: LA This assignment was assigned by my LA teacher to gauge the ability to write creatively, using a set topic. As such, this assignment demonstrates the Communication core competency. This assignment is made for people to write down their emotions and creativity all at once, fulfilling the purpose of Communication, which is to present information, in this case information which is acquired through personal experience. This assignment is also easily made better. I am not the best writer; and just as how this piece was written by slow personal experience, so will my writing skill increase with personal experience. I believe that if I come back to this assignment in grade 12, after 4 years of LA, I will be able to write a better composition. Original composition 2024-03-07 There is a saying, that sometimes goes around: experiences shape who we are . But is this true? Do experiences shape who we are? Being as blunt as I could, I say yes. Why? Well, before I explain, let me regale you with a story. It was the summer of 2019, and I was in China, on vacation. This day, we were going out. After a while of driving, we eventually arrived at our destination, a grassland in the middle of nowhere. After we settled into our place of residence for the day (a small Mongolian-themed hut), we decided to eat lunch. And what came for lunch was the most tender, juicy, brilliantly prepared leg of lamb I had ever eaten. It had none of the imperfections you might expect from a leg of lamb. It was perfectly moist, but not too mushy. It was the perfect temperature. It was cooked to absolute perfection. It was made from a simple choice of spices. In short, it was the best thing I had ever tasted so far and made a lasting impression. Later that day, I played video games in the hut and went out into the grasslands, before returning to my grandparents house (because they lived in China). So why have I decided to tell my story to you? It has been five years since this vacation happened, and my general memories are muddy. I don t seem to remember the exact dates of it, or where we went on each day. I don t even remember what else was in the lunch I ate. And yet, I still remember this leg of lamb, and I still enjoy eating lamb to this day. In conclusion, my tastes in mutton would be different, had I not gone to that Mongolian hut on the grasslands.
