  1. Clinical Psychology Leaflet Task By the end of the session you will have had the opportunity to reflect on how well you achieved the learning outcomes for the leaflet task. You will have assessed your own performance in relation to the criteria laid down for the task. You will come up with an action plan for improving the quality of your leaflet. You will have set yourself one or more homework assignments.

  2. What was your key issue? Describe ONE key issue in clinical Psychology, using the areas of study covered within the application Suitable examples: Understanding a mental health disorder Supporting someone with a mental health disorder in the home Supporting someone with a mental health disorder in work The way that mental illness in portrayed in the media

  3. What did your leaflet aim to achieve? What are leaflets generally designed to achieve? Are you able to write a clear Aim for your task? (Remember to include the Key Issue in your aim).

  4. Who is your intended audience? Have you justified the design decisions that you made based on your audience? Have you identified 4 decisions that you made when designing your leaflet based on your audience.

  5. How have you ensured that ethical issues have been considered? Did you consider whether the information you have given could possibly embarrass the reader? Could the information upset the reader?

  6. Your leaflet should be based on secondary data. Where did you source your secondary data from? Have you provided a list of references? Can you outline 2 strengths of using secondary data? Can you outline 2 weaknesses of using secondary data.

  7. How did you go about designing and making your leaflet? Are you able to describe the procedure you used to create your leaflet in stages?

  8. You now need to evaluate your partners leaflet. You should take on the role of the intended audience to give you a different perspective: Identify 2 strengths of the leaflet Give 2 gifts (areas of suggested improvement):
