MCM Full Scale Exercise Formerly known as SNS is now MCM (Medical Counter Measures) District 5-1 Public Health counties in Region H only! (Those participating in 5-2 counties contact Saneika Thomas: Saneika.Thomas@dph.ga.gov) March 26, 2020 @ Southern Pines Recreational Park starting at 9:00a. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Coalition Budget & Ebola Funds 2019-2020 Coalition budget was $152,000 - Each coalition must spend these funds prior to 6/30/2020 Ebola Coalition funds: $180,000 - Must be spent before 6.30.2020 We have spent a total of $150,886.14 leaving us with $29,113.86 to spend by next year! This grant money has now bought each Hospital in the Coalition a handheld AeroClave disinfectant unit and Fairview the larger unit. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Budget Continued Main items being purchased with the upcoming budget Patient Evacuation Go-Pouches for all Nursing Homes Medical Grade Cots Bariatric Cots Portable Oxygen Generating System* (big ticket item) (Out for bid) Instate Travel Sending 10 members to Chatham Hurricane Conference Sending 20 members to EMAG! Out of State Travel Sent 5 people to National Healthcare Coalition Conference in December Sending 2 people to Preparedness Summit in March GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
2020-2021 Budget New Budget layout- No price given before we completed budget. State wanted budget to be Million dollar budget We submitted our budget for $1,566,564.00. This is not the approved amount but we did submit a Million dollar budget as requested. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Upcoming Classes/Trainings We have already hosted 5 classes this budget year. With 3 remaining. 1. First Water Filtration System Training: March 17 @ LCHD 9:00-1:30 - March 18 @ Putnam General Hospital 9:00-1:30 2. Facility Evacuation for Healthcare Managers (half day): May 28th 3.
