INTRODUCTION Many of us praise God for several reasons: Success in examination or promotion at the work place. Faithful spouses and exciting marriage relationship. Child birth and Children as a heritage. Yet Others thank God for supplying their: Physical Needs of Food, Clothing and Shelter Houses, cars Spiritual and Health Needs, etc. Divine protection. But we seldom hear people praising God for saving them from sin and giving them eternal life.

The Judgment of Christ - Malachi 3:1-6 He will be like a blazing fire that refines metal. He will be like a strong soap that whitens clothes. He will sit and judge like a refiner of silver. He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold: To enable them to offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord. To accept offering brought to him by Judah/Jerusalem. He will punish people who do not fear him: Sorcerers, adulterers and liars; Employers who cheat employees of their wages Those who oppress widows and orphans Those who deprive foreigners of justice
HOW TO GAIN YOUR SALVATION Listen and respond to the message of Salvation. Seek the Messiah - The Lord Jesus Christ. Repent from your sin Luke 3:3 Know that Jesus is coming again to judge: You must endure to the end. You must be ready to face him when he appears.
Preparing the Way for Jesus John prepared the way for Jesus by calling people to repentance and baptism. This occurred in history: During the 15thyear of Emperor Tiberius When Pilate was the Governor of Judea When Herod Antipas was the ruler over Galilee When Herod s Brother was ruler over Iturea/Traconitis When Lysanias was ruler over Abilene. When Annas and Caiaphas were the high priests.
Repenting from your Sin Repentance is turning away from sin toward God. We cannot say we believe in God and live anyhow. We must have a relationship to God through Christ. Determine to rid your life of any sins. Put your trust in God alone to Guide you. Prepare for Christ s coming by: Reading and Studying God s Word Responding obediently to God s directions. Celebrate your Life in Christ (Salvation).
REASON TO REJOICE IN YOUR SALVATION Message of salvation sent to us Luke 3: 1-4;Php.1:3-4 Our sins have been forgiven Luke 3:3 Saved by grace through faith-Eph2:8-9; Php. 1:7 Work of salvation to end when Christ returns Ph1:6 Enabled to know what is best Php. 1:10-11 Made partners in sharing the gospel of Christ-Php1:5 Our offerings/prayers will be accepted by God Mal3:4
Process of Rejoicing in Your Salvation Confess and accept forgiveness for your sins. Show the tender compassion of Christ Php.1:8b Overflow with love for Christians/others-Php.1:9 Grow in knowledge/understanding of God-Ph1:9 Live pure and blameless lives on earth-Ph.1:10 Be always filled with the fruit of salvation-Ph.1:11 Produce a righteous character in Christ. Give glory and praise to God.
CONCLUSION Acts 3:19 - ...repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" Consider Paul s past: (1Timothy 1: 12 - 17) He had scoffed at the teachings of Jesus: A blasphemer He arrested and murdered God s people A Persecutor He was a Man of Violence God forgave Paul when he repented. He will do s God/Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.
PRAYER/SONG: He Will Do it Again HE will do it again!/2x HE will do it again!/2x His power to save is just the same: I am glad to say HE will never change; But once Christ has done one miracle; HE will do it again!
