ISPESH 2023 Relationship Student Learning Interest To The Learning Outcomes Of Natural Sciences in SMP N 1 Sorong Alfince Kambu Alfince Kambu- -1704001 1704001 Indonesia University Of Education Indonesia University Of Education
ISPESH 2023 Physical education is an integral part of the education system in general, which has an important role in developing and improving the quality of human resources (HR). Through physical education, students not only learn about the importance of physical fitness, but also develop social, mental and emotional skills that support their overall growth (Widodo et al, 2016). INTRODUCTION The current modern era has indeed brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the world of education. Especially in Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) lessons. By utilizing various supporting tools and technology, teachers can create a more interesting and enjoyable learning environment so that students can develop creativity and improve good physical fitness so that students also feel fresher and ready to face other learning activities at school (Rohmah & Muhammad, 2021 ).
ISPESH 2023 Physical fitness is the body's ability to carry out physical activities without causing excessive fatigue. A person's physical fitness is greatly influenced by the conditions of the physical activity undertaken (Sinuraya et al, 2020). Physical fitness has a very important function for a person's life in carrying out daily activities, and to improve the work ability of anyone who has it so that they can carry out their duties optimally to get good results and to develop the strength, ability and endurance of every human being is useful for increasing work capacity (Ismoko, 2018). Improving students' physical fitness is not only from PJOK lessons, but can be done outside PJOK lesson hours (Afandi et al, 2019). Lack of understanding about the importance of physical fitness can indeed reduce students' interest in taking sports subjects at school (Riyanto, 2020). As stated by Darmawan (2017), the level of physical fitness in schools is still not good due to the lack of physical activity which makes students feel tired quickly when doing sports activities. The important role of physical fitness for students is so that students can participate in the learning process at school with the aim of getting better achievements (Rosyid et al, 2016). INTRODUCTION
ISPESH 2023 In this study, research methods were used Ex-post facto. Study Ex-post facto is non experimental research carried out after the conditions to be studied have occurred or research in which there is a post-test but no pre-test. This type of research is quantitative research, namely "research that uses a lot of numbers, starting from data collection, data interpretation, and the appearance of the results."[15]. The method used is correlation METHODS Fig 1. Research DesignInformation: X = Student Learning Interest = Relationship Y = Student Learning Outcomes
ISPESH 2023 This section describes the research in this study is a quantitative research with correlational methods 1. Results Interest in learning data was obtained through a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Before the instrument is used, the instrument is first validated and tested. After reporting on the instrument trials, the researchers conducted research at Maniamolo 4 Public Middle School. RESULT & DISCUSSION Nutritional Status Category Table 1. ISPESH 2023 There is a positive and significant relationship between learning interest and students' science learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Maniamolo in the 2022/2023 academic year because students have a sense of fun, interest, and a high desire for learning which is seen as giving them advantages and satisfaction. Because students have a sense of comfort, and are aware of the benefits of learning, and are able to know the learning objectives that make students interested so that there is an increase in learning outcomes. The teacher's suggestions can give sufficient attention, as well as provide an understanding of the benefits of learning and learning objectives to arouse student learning interest so that the implementation of learning goes well so that student learning outcomes increase, especially in Integrated Science subjects.
