. FOUNDED IN 1999 BY BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF OF THE WASHINGTON ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY ACT PROGRAM (WATAP) TO PROVIDE DIRECT LENDING TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES FOR THE PURCHASE OF ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY. HTTP://NWACCESSFUND.ORG
Northwest Access Fund We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and were certified by the US Department of Treasury as a CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) in 2002. Our Mission: To help people with disabilities achieve financial capability and stability by improving economic opportunities, leveraging community resources, promoting access to technology and bridging funding gaps through low-interest loans, matched savings, and other means.
