Foundations Week 7 Restoration: The Church & The Great Commission
The Church The church is the community of all true believers for all time.
Ephesians 5:25 Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
Deuteronomy 4:10 Gather the people to me that I may let them hear my words, so that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the Earth.
Acts 7:38 He was with the church in the wilderness
2 Timothy 2:19 The Lord knows who are his.
Revelation 7:9-10 After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

2 Corinthians 2:7-8 You should rather turn to forgive and comfort him or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow I beg you to reaffirm your love for him.
Hebrews 12:6 For the Lord disciplines those whom he loves.
Hebrews 12:8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.
Matthew 28:18 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.
Luke 6:35-36 Love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish. Be merciful, even as your father is merciful.
