Revelation 21:22-27 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; 26and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; 27and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. 3/20/2025 David Tye 4

Where do we get our rivers from? Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd [those who come out of the Great Tribulation], and will guide them to springs of the water of life; John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. John 7:38-39 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.' Luke 12:37 "Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is. 1 Cor. 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; Who are the bond-servants? Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel Romans 6:22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. This directly contradicts the point of view of many scholars that the Book of Revelation is an imponderable mystery for which no key is available today. This book is the Word of God and not the vague imaginations of John. [BKC] Romans 13:8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. coming quickly 1st mention in this chapter, Second Advent. shortly take place = 6th of 7 beatitudes in Revelation. 6And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must shortly [tachos] take place. heed keep, guard. Requires diligence in study of all scripture and in particular this most neglected book 7"And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book." Angel is fellow servant of whom? worship revere, adore, fawn or crouch to (as a dog licking master s hand) What compels John to worship? Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. Psalm 26:1-4 Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity, And I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. 2Examine me, O LORD, and try me; Test my mind and my heart. 3For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth. 4 I do not sit with deceitful men, Nor will I go with pretenders. 8And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9And he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book; worship God." the time is near is different from behold, I am coming quickly Daniel 12:9-10 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. 10"Many will be purged, purified and refined; but the wicked will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. Ezekiel 3:27 "But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth, and you will say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.' He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house. 10And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11"Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and let the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and let the one who is holy, still keep himself holy." Let the one implies if these prophecies are rejected there is no further message to alter one s heart no repentance, only blasphemy. The time is coming when change will be impossible. coming quickly 2nd mention in this chapter, The reward is apparently a reference to the saved according to their deeds; the Bema Seat judgment of the saved. recompensed = receive back condemnation = adverse judgment 1 Cor. 3:15 If any man's work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire. 2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat [bema] of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Last of 7 beatitudes in Revelation. 13"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." 14Blessed are those who wash their robes [kjv do His commandments ], that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. Revelation 7:14 I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The contrast between saved and unsaved souls is stark here. There are many excluded from New Jerusalem Isaiah 62:11-12 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, "Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him." 12 And they will call them, "The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD"; recompense = judgment, good or bad Note the promise to Israel in Is. 62 3/20/2025 David Tye 13

Rev. 1:4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne; Luke 20:41-44 And He said to them, "How is it that they say the Christ is David's son? 42"For David himself says in the book of Psalms, 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SITAT MYRIGHTHAND, 43UNTIL I make THINEENEMIESAFOOTSTOOLFOR THYFEET." ' 44"David therefore calls Him 'Lord,' and how is He his son?" Alpha and Omega Christ eternal, creator, destroyer, refresher churches first mention since Rev 4 Why for the churches? morning star Light-Bringer ; welcomes the dawn of a new day. In 2 Peter 1:19 the reference is to being illumined from within when glorified. Until then we need the prophetic word to illumine our lives (with the Holy Spirit). 16"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star." 2 Peter 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 3/20/2025 David Tye 14

Who is the one who hears ? 17And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come. " And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Isaiah 55:1 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost. Now is the day of grace. To add to or subtract from this prophecy would be to deny it as the very Word of God and to deny the name of Christ, since Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ Deut. 12:32 "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it. Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; ... 6 Do not add to His words Or Jeremiah 26:2 "Thus says the LORD, ' all the words that I have commanded you to speak to them. Do not omit a word! John 14:23Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 18I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. keep to guard, watch over 3/20/2025 David Tye 16

coming quickly 3rd mention 20He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all [the saints]. Amen.
