  2. The Problem KFSD fire prevention sector plays critical role in enforcing safety laws & regulations. It provides a variety of services such as Safety Licensing Inspections Architectural Project Safety Studies 2

  3. Cont. The Problem Since 2005, Kuwait is experiencing exponential growth in population & buildings, causing safety challenges. The old manual system could not keep up with the growth rate. 3

  5. The Purpose 1. Solve the data problem: Poorly managed huge data leads to weak decision. 2. Solve the communication problem: KFSD sectors are disconnected & rarely exchange information. 3. Create new level of services: Meeting client's expectations. 4. More contribution to the society: Equity, economy, health, & more 5

  6. The Solution To create integrated electronic systems, working within 1 governing framework; following the state level vision of e-gov services. Automating as web services: License requests & document submission Inquiries & progress notification Registration & data integration for the disabled & people with special needs. 6
