IN SUMMARY The CiTrace project proposes a reinterpretation of the concept of traceability in Agrifood, proposing a focus on data solution that looks at the product as a Vector of information along the entire production chain, starting from the field until it reaches the final consumer. Such a Vector progressively enriches its information content by exploiting all possible sources of information available, seamlessly. The CiTrace solution is configured as a concentrator of harmonized information on which it is possible to go and build a set of Value Added Services and specific tools for the different stages of the supply chain and for the benefit of all the actors involved.
