GRADE PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS To be promoted to Grade 10 (Sophomore) you must have earned at least 6 Credits To be promoted to Grade 11 (Junior) you must have earned at least 12 Credits Good standing members of the junior class are extended the privileges of leaving campus for lunch and attending BOCES occupational education programs if accepted. To be promoted to Grade 12 (Senior) you must have earned at least 18 Credits

SUFFOLK COMMUNITY COLLEGE EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAM RHS students in grades 11 and 12 may take regular college courses at SCCC Eastern Campus as regular SCCC students Courses do not count as graduation credits towards your diploma Busing is provided for students by Riverhead Central School District Credits are regular cost for Riverhead students (Approx $58.00/credit) Students are invited by SCCC to apply for this program

  19. OCCUPATIONAL EDUCATION (BOCES) Students in the graduating classes of 2025 and 2026 (current 10th & 11th grade students) must have 12 credits completed prior to beginning a BOCES program and be able to fit the occupational programs into the four-year plan. Students must have and maintain a school attendance rate of at least 90% and demonstrate a serious commitment in attending occupational courses. Students with 19 or more absences at Riverhead High School and/or BOCES, (if already enrolled) will be ineligible to participate in the BOCES program. Students will be dropped in mid-October, or at any other time during the school year, if he/she fails to satisfy Riverhead High School s attendance requirements.
