Reykjavik General information On the Icelandic coast, Reykjavik is the capital and the largest city of the country. It includes the National Museum and the Museum of the Sagas, which traces the history of the Vikings of Iceland. Architecture: The Hallgr mskirkja, an impressive concrete church, and the Perlan, with its rotating glass dome, offer unobstructed views of the sea and nearby hills. Seljalandsfoss Falls Seljalandsfoss comes from the famous Eyjafjallaj kull volcano north of it. When the ice melts, it produces the river Seljalands which flows from the top of a green plateau of 60 m to give birth to the waterfall.

It is also an entry point to discover the wonders of North Iceland such as the Myvatn lake area, Dettifoss waterfall, Godafoss waterfall and Asbyrgi canyon.
