ROAR Behavior of the Week When you are given something from someone, never insult that person by making negative comments or insinuating that it wasn't appreciated.
Word of the Day Monday latent (adjective): existing but not yet developed or obvious; hidden; concealed Sample sentence: The detective asked the lab technician to search the room for latent fingerprints.
Word of the Day Tuesday minute (adjective): (pronounced MY-noot) extremely small Sample sentence: The leak came from a minute crack in the fiberglass bathtub.
Word of the Day Wednesday notion (noun): a conception of or belief about something Sample sentence: When she found out how much everyone loved her cookies, she had the notion to open an online bakery.
Word of the Day Thursday obstruct (verb): to be or get in the way of; prevent; hinder Sample sentence: The protesters deliberately obstruct traffic by shutting off their engines during rush hour.
Word of the Day Friday pensive (adjective): engaged in, involving, or reflecting deep or serious thought Sample sentence: As the widow left the cemetery, her pensive stare was enough to make everyone in the family cry for her loss.
