  3. Site Issues being reviewed: Site topography & boundary Traffic & Site Access Soil Conditions Groundwater Elevations Wetland Locations, Function & Value Utilities Sanitary Sewer, Water, Telecommunications, Electrical Stormwater Landscape Buffers

  4. Proposed Site Program: New Elementary School of approximately 66,000 SF Parking for 75 cars Bus loop for 8-10 buses at once Parent drop off for 270 +/- cars Play fields: 1.5 AC 2.5 AC multi-use field Playgrounds Multiple age groups Includes hard surface areas

  5. Proposed Site Plan Concept 4.1

Stormwater: can not increase the rate of flow off the site Stormwater system design is a part of State permitting and will be reviewed by city and state engineers for compliance with regulations. Stormwater flows must be attenuated on the site and can NOT increase flow rates to adjacent properties. Type of Soils: Limited test pits have been done. Site Specific Soils Mapping will be prepared. Geotechnical Borings will be done to review soils Need updated wetlands map, then update site plan and building floor plan before we can target areas for borings.

  7. Potential Stormwater Solutions: Underground Detention Wet Detention Pond

  8. FAQs: Wetlands: Survey being completed in the next few weeks and will have an updated map of wetlands. Any proposed impacts will be subject of state permitting? Wildlife: Will review as part of wetlands DES review? Topography: Approximately 20 vertical variation across the property Abutting properties to the North and West are above where the school will be located

  9. Traffic Study: Reviewing traffic volumes on through lanes Will conduct manual counts at Ida Circle/Eagle Drive and Salmon Falls Road/Whitehall Road intersections Reviewing turning movements, level of service and safety concerns Traffic Impact Study will be used to develop alternatives for site access

Permits Required: City of Rochester Technical Review Required Coordination and Review by all Applicable City Departments NH DES Alteration of Terrain (AoT) Stormwater, Water Quality & Erosion Control Design based on State Requirements & Site Specific Soils In-situ permeability Testing Required NH DES Wastewater Discharge Permit Sewer Capacity & Pump Station Design NH DES Standard Dredge and Fill Permit (Wetlands) Wetland Function & Value Natural Heritage Bureau Review Cultural Resources Review

Existing Site Facts: 40.88 Acres Salmon Falls Road- 50 frontage Rolling topography elevation 328 in NE corner to 308 at SW corner Front upland area is 12.2 acres of contiguous area Eversource Electric 3-phase at Salmon Falls Road frontage No natural gas supply City of Rochester Water is available water main pressure will need to be reviewed City of Rochester Sanitary Sewer is available there is sufficient capacity Communications: Consolidated Communications wire DSL service available. Fidium Fiber (2 miles away) in an expansion program
