Coordinating efforts Creating a plan/systematic process for team meetings Leadership/engagement of other members Refocuses/orients team to a common purpose Accountability Day-to-day responsibilities in a school are HARD! It would be easy for PBIS to fall into the background. 11

According to Center on PBIS, coaching serves three key functions: To ensure intervention fidelity To ensure implementation fidelity To develop organizational systems to promote professional judgement & sustainability Mindset shift: When there are challenges with implementation, coaches help to remove blame from teachers and leverage system/school resources to provide additional support. 12

For each item, identify if any of your strengths align or can be utilized for that task. Place an X in the columns of strengths that relate to each area of expertise. STEP 3: Identify which Areas of Expertise do not have a current strength that is related to the task.
