Let us pray Lord, As we gather here today we thank you for your friendship and protection. We ask that you will strengthen us, restore us and inspire us to know what is right and to do what is just. Come fill our lives with your love, fill our conversations with your grace and truth, fill this meeting with your presence. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen Mission of a Catholic School

The Catholic school is one whose ethos or characteristic spirit is rooted in its Christian concept of life centered on J esus Christ: He is the One who ennobles people, gives meaning to human life, and is the model which the Catholic school offers to its pupils. Congregation for Catholic Education, The Catholic School, Rome 19 March 1977, n. 33-37 Mission of a Catholic School
Once in a while we meet a gentle person a person who treads lightly, listens carefully, looks tenderly, and touches with reverence. Such a gentle person knows that true growth requires nurture not force. Let s dress ourselves with gentleness. In our tough and unbending world our gentleness can be a vivid reminder of God s presence among us. Henri Nouwen Mission of a Catholic School
