Previous Structure 1. Teams signed up (free of charge) 2. 60 % submitted WS (participation rate) 3. 20 teams qualified for FOR
New Structure 1. Teams sign up and pay a 100 fee 2. Teams submit WS Sign up Written Submissions Final Oral Round Regional Rounds 3. Teams participate in mandatory RRs 4. 18 teams qualify for FOR
Team criteria 2-4 law students 0-2 coaches From the same university (CoE state or ELSA member) 1 team per uni Must not have practised law professionally
Written Submissions Deadline: 15 December 2019 Each WS is scored by 2 judges 1 set for Applicant and 1 for Respondent 20 pages of legal pleadings 1 page summary of submissions
Regional Rounds Locations: Western Round: Nottingham, United Kingdom Central Round: G ttingen, Germany Eastern Round: Vilnius, Lithuania Structure: One day of arrivals and Opening Reception Two days of pleadings One day of departure
