West Midlands: SABR Highlights of 24-25 Expansion of SABR treatment sites. All MDTs now have at least one centre treating spine. Pancreas SABR now available in region at UHB. Increase in SABR clinical experience across the region. Increase in patient numbers and complex planning experience especially for oligomets. Increased access to motion management e.g. abdominal compression. Use of new technology in the region e.g. SGRT for patient set-up.
West Midlands: Whats next? Further expansion of treatment sites and opening of SABR trials. Increase number of centres delivering spine SABR. Potential for centres other than UHB to deliver liver, adrenal SABR etc. STAMPEDE II and STAR TRAP trials. Roll-out of 5# Prostate SABR following PACE B results. One centre is currently treating and planned for all other centres. Increased use of SGRT and motion management techniques.
