SafeSport MAHA Meeting August 9th, 2014 Jeff Jewell MAHA D6 SafeSport Director

New Policies & Discipline At least one adult in the locker rooms at all times. MAHA suggests two adults. Individual meetings with a player and coach require another adult be present. New Policy with Parents in locker rooms. Coaches need to set expectations. Discipline for Coaches and Associations. Association Policies.

SafeSport Modules All coaches, managers and locker room attendants will need to complete the SafeSport training by December 31st, 2014. SafeSport Certificates will need to be included in team books for credential checks. USA Hockey locker room policies: www.usahockey.com/safesport
