Health and Safety & Sustainability Update 6th June 2023 Safety and Building Manager: Mohamed Ismail
IoO Health and Safety Risk assessments - We are proactively reaching out to PIs and encouraging them to check Risk Net and review any Risk Assessments requiring attention. We request that all pending Risk Assessments be closed off or archived by the 30th of June, 2023. Please find guidance on how to complete the risk assessment Risk Assessment Guide Training - Soon, Risk Assessment will be available for all supervisors and PIs. riskNET Keeping space tidy - Please keep the Lab and office tidy for a safe work environment. Please note that there will be Lab and office inspections coming soon. Reporting incidents and accidents - Please use Risk Net to report any incidents and accidents Report Hygiene of the toilets - We have recently received numerous concerns about the hygiene of the institute's toilets. Kindly ensure that you leave the facilities in the same condition you found them to maintain cleanliness for fellow users. Safety on and off campus

IoO Sustainability We have achieved Gold award for LEAF We intend to host a Green Day at the Institute, with more details to be released soon.
