WHO IS RELIGIOUS WILL BE SAVED Just believing IN God or Christ is not sufficient to be saved sinners must BELIEVE God Not Everyone Salvation requires belief and diligent obedience Hebrews 11:6 God commands and demands full submission to His will - half-hearted discipleship is not acceptable! WHO PRAYS WILL BE SAVED Prayer is not a condition of salvation No one told to pray in order to be saved in the NT Paul and Cornelius prayed but were not saved Acts 9:1-18; 10:1-2, 20-48 One must be born again to be saved - John 3:3-5 Must be baptized in water - Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 22:16 The Bible teaches that God does not acknowledge the prayers of sinners - Proverbs 1:28-30; Isaiah 59:1-2 1 Peter 3:12 Not Everyone 5
WHO CALLS JESUSLORD WILL BE SAVED Jesus asked the Jews an important question And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? - Luke 6:46 We must DO the will of the Lord - James 1:21-25 Romans 2:13 Those who DO NOT, work iniquity (without law) Like Cain - Genesis 4:3-7;Hebrews 11:4; Romans 10:17 Like Nadab and Abihu - Leviticus 10:1-2 Must do good works that are by faith in Christ Acts 10:34-35; Ephesians 2:10 Not Everyone 6
WHO IS MORALLY GOOD WILL BE SAVED Cornelius was a man of high moral integrity But was saved ONLY by hearing, believing and obeying the gospel of Christ - Acts 10, 11 Moral integrity is not sufficient to save one from their sins - Romans 3:23-31 Salvation based on moral goodness would make the death of Christ on the cross needless - 2 Cor 5:14 Only the blood of Christ can cleanse one from sin Romans 3:23-26; 1 Peter 1:18-20 Not Everyone 7
WITH RELIGIOUS ZEAL WILL BE SAVED The Romans were described as those who had a zeal of God but were lost - Romans 10:1-3 Paul prayed that they might be saved - vs. 1 Paul (Saul the persecutor was zealous) - Acts 22:1-4 Galatians 1:13-24 Paul & Apollos are examples of re-directed zeal in serving the Lord - 1 Corinthians 15:9-10, 58; Acts 18:25 Only fervent zeal in good works can save Romans 12:11; Titus 2:14-15; 2 Corinthians 7:7 James 5:16; 1 Peter 4:8; 2 Peter 3:10-13 Not Everyone 8

WILL BE LOST ETERNALLY IN HELL These will hear the saddest words on the Judgment I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity - vs. 23 The lost forfeit the promise of Heaven for Hell HELL IS Those Not Saved -ETERNAL & REAL - Matthew 25:46 - SEPERATION FROM GOD- Revelation 20:10-15 - DARKNESS & SUFFERING - Matthew 22:13, cf. 8:12 - UNQUENCHABLE FIRE - Mark 9:43 11 THESE WILL THERE GO BY THEIR OWN CHOICE!
