Archimedes independent body to implement Estonian and European Union programmes in the field of training, education and research. Foundation is an Foundation Archimedes offers scholarships for different purposes: short study visits, exchange studies, degree studies abroad.
Dora Plus short study visits (activity 1.1) Scholarship can be used for short study visits (up to 30 days) abroad including: participation in conferences, seminars, summer schools, consultations, work with academic supervisor, work in libraries/laboratories, individual work, etc.

Dora Plus grant for Master`s students Support is offered to talented international Master s students enrolled in English-taught master's programmes. The scholarship is 350 euros per month. The scholarship could be awarded for one academic year, i.e. 10 calendar months at a time and to those studying full-time. The grant can be applied for during the application process to the University of Tartu. Second-year international master level students can apply in the beginning of an academic year.
Kristjan Jaak scholarship for degree studies abroad Call for applications is open to people who fulfill all the following conditions: Estonian citizens or persons living in Estonia on basis of permanent residence permit; beginning or continuing their studies at the PhD and Master s level at a foreign university ; willing to work in Estonia for 3 years after graduation in a post where a PhD or MA degree in the relevant field is required. The work period in Estonia may be replaced by an assignment abroad that benefits Estonia directly. Scholarship for master's studies can be applied for in case the desired speciality can not be studied in Estonia. Scholarship consists of subsistence grant (fixed amount for each month), travel grant (fixed amount per round trip) and tuition fee (only in well-founded cases and reasonable amounts). Applications have to be submitted to Foundation Archimedes. Deadline 1 April 2018
