TRAITS OF CULTURE SYSTEM :: shared human behavior/values/ideas/rules of living RESULT :: a learning process CREATED :: social context EXPRESSED :: symbolic form APPROACHES OF UNDERSTANDING CULTURE(Within The Business Context) Pattern of expected behaviour, structured framework, material values, continuous learning, experience, dialogue etc HOW A COMPANY S EMPLOYEES & MANAGEMENT INTERACT & HANDLE OUTSIDE BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS.

LOW CONTEXT CULTURE IN BUSINESS :: in which patterns(eg.Language) clearly say what they mean. HIGH CONTEXT CULTURE IN BUSINESS :: attitudes & circumstances are more important than what is actually said. INFLUENCE OF CULTURE IN DIFFERENT BUSINESS CONTEXT 1. Specific Influences : include PESTEL system(political, economic, social, technological, environmental, legal) A. Customs of the country B. Cultural orientation & value patterns of the country 2. Influence attitude towards work, authority, money, time, risk, work-family balance etc 3. Also influence management functions too like organizing & coordinating, technological changes, communicating, motivating, decision making, negotiating, CSR practices etc OPERATIONAL EXAMPLE 1.
