School to School Transfer from New Brunswick To be eligible to transfer from a New Brunswick campus school, students must have completed the following by the end of the spring 2020 semester: Math placement into Calculus 1 01:640:135/151, a grade of C/Pass or higher in Calculus 1 01:640:135/151, or a grade of C/Pass or higher in Pre-Calculus 01:640:112/115 01:355:101 Expository Writing with a grade of C/Pass or higher: not a pre- business course, but required before students may transfer to RBS. (International Students can apply for a temporary waiver for this requirement.) At least two of the pre-business courses listed below with a grade of C/Pass or higher 24 Rutgers credits (12 Rutgers credits + at least 12 transfer credits required for new spring 2020 external transfer students: Please contact Dean Norott if you are in this situation) A specific Rutgers cumulative GPA of 2.800 (this transfer cycle only)

The six required pre-business courses are: The six required pre-business courses are: 01:640:135 Calculus I for Life and Social Sciences or 01:640:151 Calculus I for Math/Physics 01:220:102 Introduction to Microeconomics 01:220:103 Introduction to Macroeconomics 01:198:170 Computer Applications for Business (must be a declared pre-business 006 major) or 01:198:111 Intro to Computer Science 01:960:285 Introductory Statistics for Business or 01:960:401 Basic Stats for Research 33:010:272 Introduction to Financial Accounting (not open to first year students)

School to School Transfer from Newark To be eligible to transfer from a Newark campus school, students must have completed the following by the end of the spring 2020 semester: 21:640:135 Calculus 1 with a grade of C/Pass or higher English Composition I & II (21:355:101 & 21:355:102) with grades of C/Pass or higher Two of the remaining four pre-business courses listed below with grades of C/Pass or higher 24 Rutgers credits A specific Rutgers cumulative GPA of 3.00 (this transfer cycle only)

The five required pre-business courses offered at Newark are: 21:640:135 Calculus I 21:220:101 Introduction to Economics -- Micro 21:220:102 Introduction to Economics -- Macro 21:220:203 Statistics or 21:220:231 Statistical Methods 29:010:203 Introduction to Financial Accounting Students interested in transferring to RBS New Brunswick from the Newark campus must take prerequisite courses before they can declare a business major, and 5/6 of those prerequisite courses are available to all Rutgers-Newark students.

  6. More Info for Newark Students: If you are accepted into RBS, you will have to complete the remaining eligibility requirements (including 01:198:170 Comp Apps for Business, for which there is no equivalent course at Newark) before you would be able to declare a business major. If you fail to complete all six pre-business requirements with a C or higher, by the end of the spring 2021 semester, then you would not be allowed to continue in RBS. Note: The only business content courses that transfer from the Newark campus are: 29:010:203 Financial Accounting, 29:010:204 Managerial Accounting, 29:630:301 Intro to Marketing, 29:799:301 Intro to Supply Chain, & 29:011:300 Business Forum.

School to School Transfer from Camden To be eligible to transfer from a Camden campus school, students must have completed the following by the end of the spring 2020 semester: 50:640:121 Calculus I with a grade of C/Pass or higher English Composition I & II (50:350:101 & 50:350:102) with grades of C/Pass or higher Two of the remaining four pre-business courses listed below with grades of C/Pass or higher 24 Rutgers credits A specific Rutgers cumulative GPA of 3.00 (this transfer cycle only)

  10. Key Info for all school to school transfers: Summer 2020 coursework will NOT be included in the review. You will not be admitted to RBS if you have any unresolved (= not yet repeated) D, F, NC, or TZ grades in any of the six pre-business courses or RBS (school 33 courses), at the time you are applying. Students who have 3 or more D/F/NC grades in the six RBS pre- business courses will NOT be eligible to transfer to RBS. If you are accepted into RBS still in the pre-business phase, you will have to complete the remaining eligibility requirements before declaring a business major. If you fail to complete all six pre-business requirements with a C/Pass or higher, by the end of the spring 2021 semester, then you would not be allowed to continue in RBS. All six eligibility courses need to be completed by the end of the summer 2020 semester to enter RBS as a junior with a declared major.

  11. How to apply to transfer to RBS New Brunswick: The school to school transfer application: https://www.ugadmissions.rutgers.edu/SchoolToS chool/ will be open from 02/01/20 through 04/30/20. Applications will be reviewed after May 22nd. Students will be notified of their admission decision on June 30th.
