The spread of information and communications interconnectedness has great potential to accelerate human progress . technology and global Para 25: We commit to providing inclusive and equitable quality education at all levels .. All people, should have access to life-long learning opportunities that help them to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to exploit opportunities and to participate fully in society.. Para 27: All countries stand to benefit from having a healthy and well-educated workforce with the knowledge and skills needed for productive and fulfilling work and full participation in society Page 4

The Knowledge and Learning Dimension of the 2030 Agenda Preamble Para 28: . including through the mobilization, from all sources, of financial and technical assistance to strengthen developing countries scientific, technological and innovative capacities to move towards more sustainable patterns of consumption and production . Para 52: We the peoples .. Our journey will involve Governments as well as parliaments, the United Nations system and other international institutions, local authorities, indigenous peoples, civil society, business and the private sector, the scientific and academic community. SDG8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all Target 8.6: By 2020, substantially reduce the proportion of youth not in employment, education or training SDG9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation Target 9.5 Enhance scientific research, upgrade the technological capabilities of industrial sectors in all countries, in particular developing countries, including, by 2030, encouraging innovation and substantially increasing the number of research and development workers per 1 million people and public and private research and development spending Page 7

Meetings and seminars at the national and regional levels; national workshops, parliamentary forum on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Arab Region, the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development, training seminars for directors of government training institutes, VNR Workshops, Learning Conferences, etc. Active participation at High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, United Nations General Assembly Summit on Sustainable Development Technical advice and assistance through advisory missions to member states Coordination with all partners/stakeholders (UN agencies and programs, regional and international organization, development banks, civil society, academia, private sector & others to support member states in implementing their national development plans Reports and working papers on; progress in 2030 Agenda, role of parliaments, role of civil society organizations, and other topics related to 2030 Agenda Page 10 Establishment of E-Portals (data portal, SDG Gateway, SME Portal, etc. )
