Vetco keeps tails wagging with help from the cloud Although pet health data is not governed by data protection regulations as is human health data, Bentzel says that could well be on the way. Even without regulatory requirements to meet, Vetco wants to keep pet and family data safe. It uses Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium (part of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite) to help safeguard access to data through multifactor authentication, and Azure AD Connect to connect its on-premises Active Directory with Azure Active Directory. Vetco will use other Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite products specifically, Microsoft Intune to manage its approximately 700 tablets nationwide and control what employees can access from the browser. We have a lot of turnover in our store workforce so we have to be able to train people quickly and keep information secure, Bentzel says. We give them a username and password, and they re able to reset their own passwords through Azure Active Directory. This is important, because we have such a small IT staff. https://customers.microsoft.com/en-us/story/vetco-keeps-tails-wagging-with-help-from-the- cloud
Morisawa Uses Enterprise Mobility Suite and Office 365 to balance access, security, and user convenience Up to now, we had been using a web-based management account developed in-house for terminal management, but that required registrations and deletions to be renewed manually, making it inefficient. We think EMS will make this management work a lot more efficient. https://customers.microsoft.com/en-us/story/morisawa-uses- enterprise-mobility-suite-and-office-365
Construction firm builds on success by going mobile-first with Microsoft technologies Wohlsen Construction wanted its team members to be able to work efficiently from job sites and offices, so the firm adopted Microsoft Office 365, Intune, Surface Pro devices, and other Microsoft technologies. Now team members in the field have the information they need while decision makers collaborate to drive the business. Team members spend less time traveling to meetings and more time contributing in meaningful ways, while the firm s small IT staff has more bandwidth to help Wohlsen meet aggressive growth goals. https://customers.microsoft.com/en-us/story/construction-firm- builds-on-success-by-going-mobile-first-with-microsoft-technologies
