Thirsting? Hungering?
Hungering and Thirsting Hungering and Thirsting Will demand I see the spiritual realities of my being not like the natural man (I Cor. 1:18- 2:16, 2 Cor. 5:19, 21; Phil. 3:9) Will demand my righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees (Matt. 5:21-48) Manifest mercy (Matt. 5:7) Be pure in heart (Matt. 5:8) Seek peace be a peacemakers (Matt. 5:9, I Pet.3:11) Will demand that I continue to pursue righteousness in my life as a Christian (2 Tim. 2:19-22, Heb.1:9)
Look deeper into my heart as the spiritual man He that cometh to me shall not hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst (Jn. 6:35) Pursue righteousness as God s man Consider my total being unlike the natural man Wretched man that I am (Rom. 7:24)
